Abhi-Ash visit Kadapa dargah - Oh baby! Is Aishwarya on the family way? 16th. Nov. 2007 The Bachchan family has been religiously adding to the list of holy shrines they have visited and this time star couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai offered prayers at the famous Amin Pir Dargah in Andhra Pradesh’s Cuddapah district. Rumours have it that daughter-in-law Aishwarya is on the family way, and the trip was to seek blessings for the mother and child. This is not the first shrine that the family has visited in the state. They had sought blessings at the Tirupati temple shortly after Abhishek and Aishwarya’s wedding this year.
While speculations about Aishwarya Rai being pregnant are rife again, we can surely tell you that the family offering prayers to all their Gods for a baby.
It is not just Abhishek and Aishwarya’s presence at the Amen Peer Dargah in Hyderabad two-days-back that indicates this, but we’ve learnt that Jaya Bachchan is keen that the baby is born within December 2008. The reason being, a specific planetary position that comes in to effect from next Thursday onwards, which would be the best time for having a baby.
Says a source, “Jupiter goes into Dhanu Rashi and stays there for one year until end of 2008. If a child is born in that period, the child will have a very strong Jupiter, like Jaya Bachchan has in her janam kundli.”
Apparently Jaya Bachchan is keen that the baby is born with a strong Jupiter positioning in its astronomical chart. The visit to the Hyderabad Dargah however was indeed a special one, which included a chaddar offering as well as some special prayers at the shrine. It was music maestro AR Rahman who suggested to the couple that they visit the dargah.
Ahmed Chisti Qadri, the kazim of the Dargah Ameer in Kadapa district of AP performed special rituals for Abhishekh and Aishwarya who brought a “chadar of flowers and silk” all the way from Bangalore .
He said, “The couple had requested me on phone to perform some rituals for the planetary disorders caused by the ‘Khuja dosham’ which they feared had come in the way of her conceiving their first child”. They had been planning to come here for almost three months.
It was Abhishek who conducted all the required prayers. Aishwarya Rai however was no allowed inside, but she paid her respects from outside.
Nevertheless, Teji Bachchan’s deteriorating health still remains a prime concern for the family. Sources add that Amitabh Bachchan was putting together huge plans to celebrate his father’s 100 th death anniversary on 27 this month. But this might be shelved depending on his mother’s health condition.
